With my project „Five Elements“, I show my photographic view with symbols of the elements wood, fire, earth, metal and water. This is based on the model of cyclical processes of change in the Chinese tradition, where the harmonious interplay of forces regulates itself into a dynamic balance. No element stands alone. They live in connection, community and interaction with each other, towards a comprehensive whole. With my works, I show the interplay of the elements of nature, but also the influence of man on them.

The project „Dream Forest – Laurissilva“ was created as part of the exhibition „Spirit of Wood’s“ in April 2018 at Kunstraum Grevy, Cologne. With my photographs, I show the remaining natural and cultivated habitat of the laurel forests of La Gomera and Madeira. In my exploration of the value of nature for our human society, I include a poem by Johann Peter Uz, a poet from the 18th century. This poem has lost none of its relevance to this day.
